Welcome to the third instalment of the Tempus newsletter! This past month, our team has been busy delivering new integrations and features which we are excited to share with you.
We are happy to announce that Tempus surpassed the TVL of $10m for the first time this month.
Integration Updates
Rari Capital Integration
Following our Mainnet launch and Lido integration on 15 December 2021, January saw another integration with Rari Capital going live. We deployed our first Rari USDC pool for a 5-month term on 18 January 2022, with a maturity date on 24 June 2022. At the time of writing, you can deposit your USDC or Rari Stable Pool Tokens (RSPT) on Tempus for a fixed APR of 6.64%!
In the following months, we will continue to deploy new pools until users have an option to fix — or speculate on — any form of variable yield.
DeBank Integration
We are also happy to announce that users can view their positions on DeBank. All they need to do is go to https://debank.com/ and log in via your web3 wallet!
Migrating Cross-Chain
With the growing popularity of Fantom and increasing demand for higher fixed interest rates, we also announced that we would be integrating with Yearn to deploy our first pool on Fantom!
As we look to expand our product offerings and cater to a larger audience, we have found that the current lower APR available across the Ethereum ecosystem and the high gas fees related to transacting on the network can be a limiting factor for users who would like to try our product but might otherwise feel priced out.
That is why, we have chosen to explore a partnership with Yearn on the Fantom network, which has seen tremendous growth in volume and total value locked (TVL) over the past 12 months. The community will be able to vote on which Yearn pools they would like us to integrate with first. The potential options are DAI, USDC, USDT, WBTC and WFTM, among others.
The integration will enable us to offer double-digit fixed yields to protect you from the downside risk of falling interest rates or variable interest rates.
Security
A governance proposal to fund the Hats Bug Bounty Vault with 1 million TEMP was passed by a large majority to promote the security on the platform.

To help explain the concept of fixed rates and its benefits in the DeFi space, Cointelegraph published an article mentioning traditional interest rate swaps and how we’re planning to disrupt the market.
